Terms of service

1. Purpose of the service

Laubja is an online property management application designed for landlords. It enables the creation of leases compliant with French legislation, payment tracking, receipt generation, and property diagnostic management.

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Laubja service. By using the service, you unconditionally accept these terms.

2. Registration and account

Using Laubja requires creating a user account. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities performed under your account.

You agree to immediately notify Laubja of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.

3. Use of the service

By using Laubja, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful property management purposes;
• Not use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
• Not attempt to access other users' data;
• Comply with French property rental legislation.

4. Intellectual property

All elements of the Laubja service (design, code, text, logos, trademarks) are protected by intellectual property law and belong to Laubja or its licensors.

Documents generated through the service (leases, receipts) remain the property of the user. Laubja retains a non-exclusive license to store and process these documents as part of the service.

5. Liability

Laubja is a rental management tool provided free of charge, as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. CONSORCES strives to ensure the availability and reliability of the service but cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.

Lease agreements, rent receipts, formal notices, inventory reports and any other documents generated through Laubja are produced under the sole and entire responsibility of the user. CONSORCES cannot be held responsible for the content, accuracy, legal compliance, or consequences of the use of these documents.

The user is solely responsible for verifying the compliance of generated documents with applicable laws and local regulations. In case of doubt, it is recommended to consult a legal professional (lawyer, notary, property manager).

Laubja is a technical management tool. It does not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice. Information provided (rent control data, reference indices, document templates) is for informational purposes only and does not substitute professional advice.

CONSORCES disclaims all liability for financial losses, disputes, or damages resulting from the use of generated documents, errors or inaccuracies in reference data, or non-compliance of a document with specific local regulations.

6. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in our privacy policy, accessible from the link at the bottom of the page. Laubja is committed to protecting your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion results in the permanent deletion of your data within 30 days, unless legally required to retain.

Laubja reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, after prior notification where possible.

8. Changes to terms

Laubja reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bordeaux, France.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
